There are a few things sprinkled in here or there such as laundry, exercise, and oh yeah my Target addiction. But for the most part this is our routine. However, this past Sunday was a little different. A little birdie told us that there was going to be a free Clint Black concert on the beach. We searched the web, called a few other friends, and to our demise nobody knew anything. Our little birdie isnt always the best source of information, but we figured what the heck, worst case scenario, we drive down to the beach (a whole 5 mins away), take a stroll along the ocean, and hop back in a car. Still wouldnt be too bad of a Sunday night if you ask me. So my hubby, his cousin, and his best friend pile into my car and head down. No signs of a concert. No stage. No signs. Definitely not a Clint Black fan base in sight. But again, we figure what the hell, lets park and walk the beach to see if we can find it.
What do you know, there is a hint of something going on, tucked away behind a resort. Looks like a private function. Stage set up. Lounge area with food and drinks set up. Crowd of people, get this, all wearing Clint Black shirts. SCORE!!!!
We decide to plop down right there in the sand and see what happens. Of course, I begin my little photo shoot for the night. (What and not take advantage of the gorgeous scenery? lol)
I think Id have to say, it was the best free concert with the best view of the stage and a gorgeous backdrop. Maybe we can work this into our Sunday routine? Itd be nice is all Im saying. . . . . . .
